I love words. I love writing them, editing them, and making them leap off the "page".

I've been in the wordsmith business for more than 30 years, as a journalist and contractor for a variety of government and corporate clients.

As a journalist, I have written for many of the major markets in Canada, including Toronto Life, Maclean’s, Canadian Business, The Canadian/Today, Toronto Magazine and The Toronto Star.

I am the editor of Your Foodservice Manager and Pharmacy Business magazines, as well as FoodBiz.ca and PharmacyU.ca

I was the founding editor of BoomerLife in Richmond, Virginia and Your Convenience Manager, as well as the relaunch managing editor of Flavours Magazine.

My public and media relations credits include work on major accounts for Burson Marsteller, Vickers & Benson, Hill & Knowlton, The Kerbel Communications Group, and also for such clients as the National Institutes of Health, Pasteur Merieux Connaught, VenGrowth, Spirits Canada, the Brewers of Ontario, the United Nations Association of Canada and Imperial Life.

I've been a contractor for several ministries and government offices, among them Health and Resources Development Canada, the Ontario Ministries of Citizenship and Culture, Culture and Communications, Community and Social Services, Education, Health, Management Board of Cabinet, Natural Resources, Northern Development and Mines, Office for Senior Citizens’ Affairs, Ontario Women’s Directorate and the Health Services Restructuring Commission as well as the B.C. Ministry of Advanced Education, Training and Technology.

I've also written for and edited newsletters and brochures for both public and private sector clients. In fact, it would be fair to say there aren't many types of writing and editing I haven't tried!

I strive to make copy sing, whether as a writer or editor.
